For Denver, it doesn't get much better. Sure I have had better BBQ in Kansas City and in the South, but when it comes to the Mile High City this is the place to go, and competes with them in flavor. First off, you need to know what to order. The hot links are a must. Probably one of the top 10 best things I have ever eaten, and I am not the only one. Whenever I get it catered in for work the links are always the first thing to go. The Burnt ends are also fantastic. Sometimes they run out, but when they have them, make sure to order them up. As for for the other meats, the Brisket, pork and chicken are all very good. With the side dishes, I think the mashed potatoes are fantastic. I am not a big fan of cole slaw and mayo in general, so I don't feel like I can give you an accurate depiction for that. The Mac and Cheese is also delicious! Now the best part! Thursday nights! Ribs are $1.25 for pork ribs. Where can you possibly get a deal this good!?! And the best part...they are absolutely delicious!!! Not to mention they always have beer specials on beer night! Can't wait until Thursday! Enjoy!

Had it catered to a party. Food was on time. Baked beans were delicious. Meats were good & we had plenty. Macaroni & cheese was watery. My credit card number was stolen after I paid for the catering. I suspect it is the 3rd party who handles Brothers' catering rather than Brothers BBQ themselves. But all the same my credit card number was compromised.

This is the first time I've had BBQ since becoming pescetarian. My vegetarian friend recommended it to me. I was expecting bland tofu with steamed veggies, but what I got was far above and beyond my expectations. Yes, I admit, I did get a tofu sandwich BUT it was probably the best preparation of tofu I've ever had. They grill it so its texturally close to a brisket, then put back sauce on it before putting it on a bun. I don't miss red meat much, but bbq I was definitely craving and this sandwich hit the spot. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Full disclosure: I already went back (less than 24 hours later) before writing a review.

Denver BBQ part 2 Don't know why but as soon as I landed in Denver I got a craving for ribs and BBQ. This happens to me often. Well Brothers BBQ was my second attempt at finding some quality Q in the South Denver area. I initially drove by this spot and it seemed DEAD. yelp.com/biz_photos/brot… Only a couple cars in the lot and nothing going on inside so I drove on to another option. I couldn't find option #2 (damn yelp app) so I went back. The place is like so many route 66 type places with all kinds of silly signs, auto memorabilia, license plates and the like adorning its bright yellow and red walls and ceiling. Order at the counter deal yelp.com/biz_photos/brot… then find yourself a seat. I chose to sit near the bar so I could watch the Angel game and be closer to the beer on tap. Not a great selection but the Ranger IPA's I had worked for me. Served cold! Burnt Ends ... not what I expected. More of a roast carving. Still tasty with the different sauces. yelp.com/biz_photos/brot… 3***Stars Hot Link ... Best part of my meal. These are legit. GET SOME! 4.5****Star Sorry no pic. 1/2 slab Rib Special ... Ribs had some char and some meat on em but the underlying taste of celery salt killed the dry rub for me so I had do dig deep with the BBQ sauces to cover it up. yelp.com/biz_photos/brot… 3***Star (with hot & original sauce.) They have 5 bbq sauces at your disposal and like pokemon you gotta catch em all. yelp.com/biz_photos/brot… Original similar to KC masterpiece BBQ sauce but more watery. Sweet Tangy Vinegar. Liked this best on the burnt ends Carolina Mustard ... Traditional CM is not my thing but this was on point. Hot ... My favorite. This has a good kick for anyone who likes HOT bbq sauce. Didn't know it at the time but Brothers is a small (6) chain around the Denver area. The service was great. The dude running the place (forgot name) was way cool and kept me from being bored. Lots of big screens and an ok bar. Pretty clean for a BBQ joint too. brothers-bbq.com/pdfs/br…

Best part of eating late lunch is...you might run into HH. Lunch and HH combined? The best reward one can get after long day and even had to miss lunch. I heard the whisle (beer call) and being on I-25, this was one of the choice and glad I made it. I occasionally stop by but today's visit was very special. Any beer lover, especially micro brews at $2 will give five stars to any joint. Well, I better change to 5 and continue with the reviews. Sat at the bar, employee came over and poured beer and just left. What the heck? Then I see a sign the that says "order drinks at the front counter". I wonder it applies to beer too? Went over to the counter, orderrd my lunch and Ranger IPA. Got the # and sat at the bar. The same guy came over, grabbed chilled glass and I had pint of cold one. Happy me! Nice. It was chilled glass but could used more chilling. I love to see the ice at the edge of glass...now that's considered coooold. It was close enough and I'm not the type to complain much. By now, you know they do have 5 bbq sauces at your disposal. I loved the hot and hottest. Yummy. Dip it or spread it..but make sure sauce it good.... It was great lunch especially when they have free WiFi easy to log on and give chance to write over due reviews and updates. p.s. better get the hella out of here before the 3rd hail storm of the week hits here.

I highly recommend the Brother Special. It is my new favorite lunch. The sandwich, side and an all-you-can-drink, drink is about $11. It is worth the price and you won't leave hungry. The meal is served fresh an hot, by reasonably friendly staff.

There is nothing wrong with Brothers, right off of I-25. The sweet tea is good, the fries are delicious, and it smells of smoked awesomeness. The brisket isn't the best, but it is decent. The Sauces (6 varieties) weren't too my taste (the hot, wasn't hot at all) Yet the three star here is from this walk up - order - sit down they bringing it to you place. . is mostly from the price. Your talking 9.00 for a Brisket sandwich and another 2.25 for a side and a drink? If it wasn't for my wife polite insistence and kids being hard to load-unload I would of walked out at that. I've had BBQ closer and far more reasonable price. So the quality is decent, but the price vs quality ratio just doesn't work out.

Two stars is being very, very generous and they only got those two stars because one of their menu items I had was pretty good, everything else was well, terrible. First of all I have to call out Uncle R. Your review was the biggest reason I decided to visit Brothers. There is NO way anybody who cooks decent BBQ, let alone competition level BBQ as you claim would give this place a good review. You mention drinks quite a bit in your review, you must have been drinking heavily the day you ate there! This place has no clue what real BBQ is all about, a classic example of a place that needs their sauce like the earth needs the sun. Real BBQ isn't about sauce and doesn't need any sauce whatsoever. It's like going to a high end steakhouse and asking for A-1 steak sauce. I ordered the pork rib and hot links. The ribs were terrible, a mixture of paprika and chili powder, couldn't taste anything else. No smoke flavor and no smoke ring. Some of the worst ribs I've had in a while. The links on the other hand are the only reason why this place gets 2 stars. They were very tasty, spicy and full of flavor. Great with their sauces especially the tangy and mustard sauces. The links were so good I decided to come back a few days later for more but no ribs!! I decided to try the chicken. Chicken is really hard to screw up but they found a way!! I have no idea how they cooked this chicken but I'm 99.9999999999% sure it wasn't on a BBQ pit, probably an indoor grill. Once again, like the ribs, 0 flavor. These people simply have not heard of marinade, rub or seasonings. I think they just threw some chicken on the grill and cooked it. The links were the same and saved the meal. This place could be very good if they went to KC, Texas or Memphis and took some lessons from the masters there on prep and seasoning. Their sauces are very good. I would go back and try their brisket but fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. You are not gonna fool me thrice!!!!

The food was great! I ordered a bro cup, cornbread, and thr jalapeno cheese fries. I just wish thr bro cup had more meat, it was very scarce. Their jalapeno bbq sauce made the meal!

As a vegetarian, it's rare that I can go to a BBQ place with friends. I'm glad to say that this is now a possibility at Brothers. They have a crispy BBQ tofu sandwich that is actually surprisingly good. I didn't have high hopes, but it was delicious. Now I'll go back without friends! Way to go Brothers for having a veg option!

I ordered Brothers BBQ tonight for the first time. I used the online ordering. First things first--the online ordering is very easy to use. I like that. Basically everything after that was gross. I will not be going back & I'll explain why. We ordered one of the packs. I asked for brisket (chopped), baked beans, & fries. The meat itself was fine. No complaints. The sauce---the sauce was disgusting!! It ruined the meat. The beans tasted just like the sauce. I have no idea why they tasted the same--but they were gross. The fries were soggy. Took the delivery dude over an hour to get here. The fries were done by that point. Waste. Of. Money. I paid $40 (with delivery) for an inedible dinner. I read the reviews on Yelp before I ordered & I have to say I was disappointed beyond belief. I'm only giving it 1 star bc I have to give it at least 1 star.

This is as close to Memphis sauce and dry rub as I've had in Colorado. Good sweet tea, rib methods are spot on although the quality of the meat is hit or miss. The shoulder is great, but they need to learn that Southern BBQ sandwiches come automatically with cole slaw on the bun so a small side should be included in addition to your side. The beans are completely illegitimate as Southern BBQ goes, they are more like Ranchero beans, but here's the thing - they are awesome!!!

This is really good BBQ. A little bit pricy for what you get but not too bad. They have really good BBQ sauce and also you can select from a few types including regular and spicy. My favorite is to get the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and hot links. For sides I usually love baked beans but don't really like the ones here, they taste like beans soaked in BBQ sauce rather than the brown sugar concoction they usually are in. I do really like their potato salad, and do not like potato salad from a lot of places. I personally prefer to take out from here because the restaurant itself is kind of like sitting in a fast food place on the inside, not as nice to sit down at like Famous Dave's.

My favorite BBQ place in the south Denver area. I'm always up for trying a new BBQ place, but Brother's is the place that I always want to go back to. Their hot links and their beans are awesome.

Hard to beat Brothers for consistent and reliable BBQ. Great variety, good speed of service, and most importantly good smoked BBQ. There are lots of locations but the one I went to is on Arapahoe over by DTC. Great place to watch sports, hang out and get good BBQ. They have some great smoked chicken for those looking to eat on the lighter side along with some tofu which I thought was a little weird, but hey we are in the 21st century and Vegan power is strong.

Cool place inside. I ordered the Rib and meat special. $13.99 and you get 3 pork ribs or 2 beef ribs plus 1/4 pound of your choice of meat and two sides. I chose the pork ribs and brisket, Mac and cheese and BBQ beans. The ribs were cook way too long for my liking. There was no pull to them and just fell off the bone. If you like that this might work for you but too soft for me. Brisket was good but not BBQ'd edges to any of the meat. It was like stewed meat. The sauces were very good. The beans were good. Nice spice. The Mac and cheese was good for the first few bites but then the sauce ran out and about half of the pasta did not have cheese sauce on them. Maybe it was an off night (Sunday) but I was really hoping for a much better meal.

A friend and I were looking for a quick place for lunch. Brothers is has really good access right off the freeway. Stepping inside to a busy restaurant bar, you get into line to order food. There is a great variety of meats and sides to choose from. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich plied high with pork and topped with great cole slaw. The service is fast and the food is tasty. Will return time and time again.

Went for dinner with my kids and they love it! the service is great and the food is pretty good. I have been going there for a few years and never have had an issue. Will be going back with the kids for the Thursday rib specials.

I have no idea why this place gets decent ratings . It ok at best . Pretty tasteless , mushy meat that you have to put bbq sauce on in order for it to taste like bbq .

4 stars for their burnt ends. They were pretty good. Not as smoky as I would want. They were very tender

We are huge bbq lovers, and we weren't very impressed. We had the pulled pork and bbq chicken. Both were a little dry. For sides, we had the beans and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were probably the best on the plate. But the beans weren't good. It tasted like chile and it was a little spicy. Definitely not the traditional beans. We also had some cornbread. It wasn't warm and it wasn't very good. Very moist, but could use some flavor. The building and inside could use some updating. The person taking orders was very nice though and knowledgable about the menu! That was a plus, but id rather go somewhere else for bbq..

Visiting from Fort Lauderdale and had a hankering for some tasty Q. This was around the corner and the reviews looked good so off I went. I got the 2 meat combo with chicken and pork. Very good. The 2 sauces were good as well. Strait up BBQ delish. I got cole slaw and Mac and cheese as my sides. Mac and cheese is just ok. Noodles with watery cheese sauce. I ate it all though. Cole slaw was good. Overall, I would def come back.

Fast food BBQ; I guess one can't expect much. I'm not sure who decided that this was BBQ worth serving others, much less at the prices they charge, but to each their own. The brisket was as chewy as any I've ever had; really chewy! The pulled pork was actually quite flavorful, but I had to eat around very large chunks of fat. I'd estimate that the fat represented 35% of the total weight; beyond pathetic. The sides were just as disappointing. Mac & Cheese was soupy and yet somehow (magic?) there was still a large portion of pasta left white. I'm still trying to figure that one out. The BBQ beans were anything but. Perhaps they should be called watery chili. So much chili powder that it was all I could taste. Nothing subtle or really even good about these beans. "Roll" was a hamburger bun cut in two. A little butter and a toaster would go a long way, if you're going to start with garbage. The sauces were actually pretty good. I suppose that makes the most sense, since the places that can't make good BBQ rely on their sauces to hide the fact. The soda was also cold, so there is at least one nice thing. Go elsewhere. Better yet, make your own BBQ and pick up some sauce here.

Love. It. When it comes to BBQ, I don't care how much it costs if it's well-prepared. The ribs have a perfect amount of smoke. That's all you need to know. If you want to try a little bit of almost everything, get the Brother sandwich. I have been to the locations in the DTC, Broomfield, and on Washington. You can also count on getting a great plate of BBQ regardless of the location The staff is well-versed in what is and isn't gluten free.

All I can say is, I hope their three friends hang out and spend enough money to pay the bills because they obviously don't care about the average guy that walks in off the street. Sat down at the bar and it was a ghost town. You'd think some employee would at least greet you. Sat for a minute and finally saw a note behind the bar saying, there's nobody working the bar so go to the counter to order. It felt like they were all waiting to see how long it would take for me to figure it out rather than say anything. There was nobody there, it wasn't like they were too busy to say hello or can I help you. Bad vibes and horrible customer service before even speaking to anyone. Got up and walked out. Good luck with that Brothers.

Well the craving hit again! And this time I ordered takeout using their app- brilliant! I didn't have to deal with their slightly disorganized lunchtime rush, nor did I have to stand around looking at all their computer printout signs telling me where napkins are while I waited. The app was easy to navigate, I paid, I walked in, picked up and was back out the door without hardly stopping! Also, I don't know if they've changed buns or I unknowingly ordered their "humongous" size, but my same ole pork sandwich with slaw was GIGANTIC! The layer of meat was bigger than the bun! And I swear it grew in circumference by at least 2 inches...it was crazy big. But I put on my big girl panties, slathered it in spicy sauce and took that beast down! So, easy to use "online" ordering via app + increased portion size= an extra star from me!

My adventures for good BBQ led me here on a lunch day with one of my co-workers. The place gets packed real quick and we shared a table with 4 other people. Otherwise, I would recommend getting there early to grab a seat. The BBQ is excellent and the smoke is right on par as well. Service is great too! Would love to come back soon! So far I am 1 for 2 on good BBQ places. The first place, also within the DTC/Centennial area was not good at all. Good thing I found Brothers BBQ!

Came in just before closing because I couldn't shake the craving for some BBQ. The employee at the register "summer" was very friendly, helpful and personable. The cooks seemed to be Happy and more than gracious to make the food for us. Food was great and I will definitely choose this location next time. Thanks Summer

The outside looks like a small time hole in the wall shack, but the inside is laid out cery well, and it is clean. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you know you are in a BBQ heaven. The smell of the smoker is a warm and wonderful welcome. I ordered the 1/2 slab pork ribs. They came smoked to perfection, and a mild dry rub. You are given a basket with different sauces, each with a color coded top. The color code is listed on the napkin dispenser. I used a different sauce with each rib. They ranged from mildly spicy, to sweet, to really spicy. None of them interfered with the wonderful taste of the meat. It is hard to say which one was my favorite. I had a wonderful experience here, and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Not bad I guess. Deff didn't suck. More like 2.5 stars. Got the brisket and Mac and cheese. Nice smoke flavor to it. Service was fast and friendly

$8 for a sandwich?! Yes, I got "The Sink". Which features pulled pork and hot links. The sandwich was just ok, not incredible. If you do a combo you're looking at like $11. This is steep even for me, a guy who loves loves loves to eat. I would eat at Brother's BBQ again, but would choose Rudy's over them any day.

  • Jesse S.

5 stars just for 'The Brother" sandwich. Every BBQ place on the planet should have a sandwich like this. Good sauces and a good variety of them too. The fries are very good, very crispy (not skinny fries).

  • Daniel J.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. My favorite is the Bang sandwich but everything is delicious you can't go wrong. Make sure to try they're signature sauces.

  • Derek C.

Brothers BBQ is probably the best place for BBQ in Colorado, but they don't really have any competition, everywhere else is mediocre at best. I have tried every meat that they offer besides the ribs, and everything has been very good. My personal favorites are the brisket and the hot links. They also have a wide variety of sauces meeting any BBQ aficianado's tastes. Overall, it is a solid BBQ joint.

Came here for Thurs rib night, on way from airport to COS. The ribs were a great deal, not the best ever, but filled my craving for ribs after being at Good Smoke in Rochester NY 2 wks ago. 6 sauces to add on. I skipped the sides, but others had the cole slaw (meh) and crispy fries.

I was in Denver for some job training last week and my hotel was right next to Brother's BBQ, so I stopped in and tried it out. It turned out to be one of the best barbecue places I have ever been. I stoppedin for dinner every day for a week, and I still thought it was the best barbecue establishment I have ever tried. I can particularly recommend the burnt tips, pork ribs (the tenderest I have ever had), and chicken. The mac and cheese and fries wete OK but not incredible to my taste, but the potatosalad and coleslaw sides were delightful. They somehow even managed to make tofu not only edible but tasty andfilling. Ifi am ever back in Denver, it wil be Brother's Barbecue all the way!

I have a gluten allergy so whenever we eat here the staff is well educated about what is and what is not gluten free. They always make it clear to me that all the sauces are gluten free except for the sweet sauce, even though they recognize us they still make sure to let us know. Almost everything at this restaurant is gluten free. LOVE their pork ribs. The ball of fries...TO DIE FOR! I have never gotten sick eating at this location! That being said, we usually order our food as take-out. Their take-out food travels very well - I hate it when food gets cold or soggy, but with Brothers it still tastes fresh when we get it home! When we do eat there, I love the atmosphere at this place. The decor is perfect for a BBQ place. We love Brothers BBQ!!

  • Mark H.

The flavors are a little outside of Memphis or Texas or Kansas City traditional but sooooo good. The ribs are to die for. You just can't make them taste any better. The pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches are crave-ably good. The baked beans loaded with spices and meat are incredible. Kids like the fries and Mac and cheese. Then they have six house made sauces, each one is a masterpiece. Yes it is expensive ($24 for a rack of pork ribs) but it's apparent that that slab of pork has received a lot of love spanning days. Staff is energetic, friendly and proud of their work. They have a bar with microbrews. Order and pay at the counter and the food is brought out. Decor is... drumroll please... English motorcycle racing. Interesting. What maybe impresses me the most of Brothers BBQ is that in 15 years and multiple locations the product has remained absolutely consistent. Yum. Great food.

The coworkers and I were looking for something delish for a Friday lunch and we mutually agreed on Brothers BBQ. We had not had it in quite some time so we decided to split the chicken meat pack which for $22 dollars included: a pound of chicken - chopped, a pint of beans, a ball of fries and a good sauce portion. Also included 4 rolls. The chicken was moist and was even better when we mixed it in the original sauce which had a spicy kick to it for sure. There was enough for 4 generous sandwiches and there were definitely fries left over after we had our fill - the fries are pretty tasty. We also got the chicken wings which were too awkward to eat - they are still attached by the joint so they kind of creeped me out so I did not try them so I cannot tell you how they were. Another coworker got the ribs and assumed they would be pork - they were beef and huge bordering on Fred Flintstone status. She said they were OK but prefers pork so be sure to specify when getting take away! This is a good go to place.

Must be said that before you even park you can smell the heavenly aromas of BBQ! The new beau recommended this place and he has made some great food picks so I trusted him once again. He is still 20 for 20, this place has some great BBQ. I wasn't expecting counter ordering, but was more than happy to comply if the the food tasted as good as it smelled. He ordered the hot link sandwich with no bread and a side of mac and cheese. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with no bread and a side of potato salad. The food was brought out to us with their 4 BBQ sauces, a sweet, a tangy, a spicy, and a traditional. I mostly enjoyed the sweet but tried them all and they were all pretty good. Hot Links - The overall restaurant experience was a 4 but the hot links were a total 5! Pulled Pork - Yummy, but not as good as the hot links. Mac and Cheese - Classic Mac and Cheese, nothing special here. Potato Salad - Mustard based and very good. I would order a bucket of this to take home. This is one of those recipes that people would ask you for. Great fun and great food. I would drive an hour out of my way to get this BBQ.

I have been going to Brothers BBQ for years and I usually go 1-2 times a month. I have tried other BBQ places, but I somehow end up back at Brothers craving their ribs. Their ribs are tender and quite a bit more meat on them that what I have observed from other places. Delish with or without sauce! My review is a bit limited since I have only tried the pork and beef ribs. I'm one of those people that are afraid to try something new (unless its free of course). So now I am just waiting for 3pm to roll around so I can pick up a slab of $1.25 ribs. Yay! Happy Thursday!

This is a place that my co-workers seem to love to go to, however I am not very fond of it. I'm not a big fan of this kind of food in general, and the whole place just kind of strikes me as being dirty. I always get the salad with chicken. It's not terrible....and seems to be the healthiest thing on the menu.

In a neverending quest to refine how I personally apply the Yelp rating system, two of the key questions I've been asking myself is "Would I recommend this place?" and "What would I tell them to try?". This is a classic 3 star joint. The food is fine. The sauces are a bit pedestrian (combining the sweet and original is a tad better I think), the BBQ is ok, the star (such as it is) on the plate is, strangely enough, the fries (they are big, crisp, and oh-so-good-for-you). They slice and grill the hot links, and they are probably the best meat I have had there. They are missing a combination that includes ribs (neither the 2 or 3 meat shows them as an option) which is annoying. I remember the ribs being good, but not that memorable (don't parse this sentence too closely). The beans are super peppery, which I like. Overall, a solid ***. There's better, there's worse, and it would be hard to imagine a "You have to go there and try the......." recommendation.

Good selection of sauces and I like that you can pick your own and put as much or as little on as you like. The meat is tender, not necessarily JUICY, but all ya gotta do is drown it in sauce and voila, you got some juicy, tasty, tender meat. The sides are good as well, real mashed potatoes, pretty good slaw. Those are my usual sides so I can't comment on the other side options. The location isn't fabulous, that is for sure. But overall, the dining area seems like it's kept fairly neat and clean. Although the location is right next to the highway, the outside seating didn't seem too "hustle & bustle" or loud. The traffic was not distracting. Whenever I'm in the Denver area, I try to hit up Brothers.

Our hotel was right by Brothers BBQ so we went there for lunch one day. It was fabulous!! I got chicken and pulled pork and my husband got sausage and pulled pork we were both very happy!! The meats were delicious! Their baked beans are a little different but very good. The cole slaw wasn't to my taste but the potato salad was really good. My husband didn't care for the macaroni & cheese much but everything else was delicious! I wish we had a Brothers BBQ here at home.

You may say that a gal from Ohio, who lived in California and is now in Denver doesn't know good BBQ, but I can only tell you what my taste buds say :) ...... I am intent on trying to find my way around Denver and learn about as many places as I can... and I really wasn't in the mood for BBQ when I came here. I really didn't know WHAT I wanted. But as soon as I opened the door to go in I was hit with that smell.... that super yummy smell of BBQ. I was hoping that this food would taste as well as it smelled. I got my order TO GO ( I don't like to eat alone too often, the plight of a business traveler)... I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich with a side of coleslaw and mashed potatoes/ gravy. And just to try something else I got a Hot Link Sandwich on a bun. I ate the Hot link Sandwich first... DELICIOUS!!!! I love that it was spicy, but not until AFTER I started eating... it wasn't something that was instantly hot, it was like a slow rising heat. Loved it. The Mashed Potatoes are decent enough .. they are redskin potatoes. The coleslaw was not too good. I don't like my slaw too dry, and this was... The chicken sandwich. Hmmmm. It was a ton of carved up chicken on the bun. The BBQ sauce was on the side. I mixed it up with my chicken and can't say that it WOW'd me..... i think i could have used a little more sweet... and it would have been perfect. I went in there on a Saturday afternoon, there is a little bar with a tv showing college football... and there are some seats for you to sit and eat... most people coming in where ordering A LOT (in bulk) to go... so it seems like a really popular place to go in this area. Oh, they have signs that say they deliver!... Maybe I'll try their ribs next time.. but I surely did like that hot links!!

Came in here for lunch the other day. I've worked nearby for years and never been in. I absolutely love BBQ (namely, Brisket) and maybe that was my issue... Their brisket was okay, but nothing to write home about. It tasted almost completely flavorless and even though I drenched it in the sauces there was still not much flavor. The restaurant itself is counter service. They bring your food to you relatively quickly. This place can turn into a nightmare at lunchtime with all the traffic and everyone else coming in, so just be warned!

Its a little pricey. Yazoo BBQ was closed and i was forced to go here. The food came out quick, and the meat was tender. Big portions to fill you up as well.

Beef Ribs to die for. And if my wife reads this she'll probably take care of that little detail for me. Great new sandwich too. Wish I had 6 Stars. What a great lunch. Now home for a shower. That's how good the ribs were. Lots of flavor and really great ribs. Consider me a fan.

I made it back to Brothers for a second trial. Two main points: 1. The beef brisket sandwich was a lot better than the "brother" sandwich. However, the chopped beef in it still had some tough ends that don't jive well in a sammich. And I was forced to get the combo, even though my appetite wanted the 'wich ala-carte. So no major redemption here. 2. The service was a clusterf**k. Really. I forgot about this on my last review, but they ask your name at the counter, and give you a number. Okay, sure. Maybe a little unnecessary for both, but let's just see where this goes. Next, they bring out everyone's food except mine. Probably fine, considering we all ordered separately and had separate numbers, but after waiting for several long minutes, I start to get impatient. I then see what looks like my sandwich being offered to table after table, with nobody claiming it. When I see dude taking the basket back to the kitchen, I get up and claim it, and he takes the number placard. Apparently that one wasn't mine though, a few minutes later a different fella wandered around to every table with a sandwich asking for Brandon. I didn't bother to help regulate; it seemed like a situation that would eventually resolve itself. But the point is this: during peak times, like lunch, it's chaos. 2.5 stars.

This is a small BBQ place in a convenient location. We've eaten inside a few times, but usually just get it for takeout. I have mixed feelings about this place, because they get somethings right and others just wrong. The meat is slow cooked and delicious, which is why we continue to give it a chance. However, that is about all they get right. The sauces there are just not good. They have a "hot" sauce, which I don't understand why they even offer it for BBQ. If I want hot sauce, I'll go to a place that specializes in wings. The "normal" sauce is simply too hot. It tastes like someone just over did it with adding too much pepper. I want a flavorful sauce, it doesn't have to be hot. The sweet sauce is probably the best one, but frankly I'm not a fan of sweet BBQ. I like get baked beans with BBQ. The two just go hand in hand. However, their baked beans must use a mix of the normal and hot sauce, because again it is way too hot. I'm a big BBQ connoisseur so my expectations may have been too high for this place. They should really work on the sauces. You can tell the normal sauce actually has a good flavor to it, but someone simply went too far making it hot/spicy. If they made this their "hot sauce" and backed off on the spice to make a better "normal" sauce, then I think they'd really have something going. Until then, we will probably continue to pick it up and use our own BBQ sauce.

Very good BBQ. The pulled pork was just a bit dry but then I put some of the sweet BBQ sauce on the top and bottom bun and the problem was solved. The mac and cheese was very good. I would definitely eat here again.

Hot links are super delish. Everything else is okay. "Burnt ends" are not. They are just cubed brisket. We only go there for the hot links now. I've had worse but I have recently found better.

Went to Brother's on Arapahoe tonight. It was dollar rib night and the place was packed. I was picking up a take out order that I called in and it was ready and waiting for me when I walked in. The staff was smiling and friendly and they double checked my order and made sure everything was there before having me pay for it. Pretty good service if I do say so. I had the beef ribs and my wife had the half a chicken. Both were moist and very flavorful. This was probably the best meal I have had from Brother's. Sometimes the smoke flavor can be a little overwhelming, but not this time. It was great! If your going to go, go on a Thursday and take advantage of dollar rib night. You won't be disappointed.

Being from Boston, I'm not used to great barbeque, but this was as good as I've ever had in my local area and must be pretty good in general, judging by the reviews. I stopped by on a Thursday evening, when pork ribs are available at a special price of only $1.25. Six ribs and a side of cole slaw were filling and delicious for less than $12 before tip. The side sauce was excellent. This is a somewhat glorified cafeteria in which you order at a single register and then wait for your food, but the seating area is substantial in case you want to eat in. Don't come expecting a sit-down restaurant experience. Brothers is good ribs prepared for take-out.

FINALLY BEEF RIBS. Tender, jucy, love it. Went here 2 days in a row. Brisket & hot links are awsome. baked beans were okay. Fries rocked. Cole Slaw & Mac n cheese need help, both are too watery. Great place for kids.

Damn my co-working talking about BBQ the other day! It started in me a craving, and once I get a craving I simply MUST have that particular food...in this case BBQ. Being new to the BBQ scene in Denver (I just moved here) the boyfriend took me to brothers, which he described as being similar to Famous Dave's only faster. (I shamelessly admit I like Famous Dave's....because their sauce ROCKS) Anyway... The food was ok. I had a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were good. The meat was OK and the sauce could have been better...The meal was OK. (Yes I know I keep saying OK but thats all I can say of the place). Did Brother's BBQ settle my craving for BBQ? Yes, but next time I will go somewhere else as this was not my new favorite BBQ restaurant.

The ribs were pretty darn good. I was impressed. The mac n cheese was good, but catered towards the adult tastebuds. It's got a kick to it! I loved that little sneaky jalapeno pepper. Collard greens were quite tastey. The service was friendly, however I could have used a refill or two of sweet tea! My only complaint was, I found most of their food on the salty side, and not in a good way. I plan to try this place again soon.

Went to meet some friends for lunch today. I know I've eaten here a time or two before and had them cater a party I attended. Each time the food was decent, yet forgettable. I had the Brothers special which was a link chopped up along with some pork shoulder on a bun, and I chose potato salad for the side. It was all passable as food, but not what I'd call good BBQ. No smokey flavor, the sauce was overwhelmed by the slaw on the sandwich, the potato salad was ok. If you just want food, this is more than a capable joint to go. If you want good BBQ, there are better places. I'd much rather go to Jabos kitty korner from the joint for some real BBQ. You may pay a bit more and wait a bit longer, but the love in the food makes it much more worthwhile IMO.

This KC guy appreciates a good BBQ joint and Brothers isn't trying to be any "style" bbq, they just stick to the basics and especially do ribs pretty darn good. The whole joint also gives me the feel of what a BBQ joint suppose to be, a simple walk up and order, a few specials ($1 ribs on Thursdays!!!), a spicy version of their sauce (always a must) and a place wreaking of that oh so good smell of bbq-ed meats on a fire. Keep u the good work guys and I'll keep coming back.

I used to frequent this place a lot when I lived near enough to pick up a dinner and walk home. They were my favorite BBQ place in town back when I didn't know any other BBQ places. They feel a bit like fast-food BBQ. Maybe it's the restaurant. It doesn't really have a cozy, hang-out-a-while kind of vibe. It makes me more inclined to pickup my meal and take it home, but now I don't live near enough to make that a feasible option. It's not anything I'd personally rave about, but they do have some good BBQ, good sauces, good sides. I enjoy it best as a summer afternoon lunch, where I can go and get my BBQ fix without turning on the grill.

I was in from San Diego and wanted some good BBQ and this place had just that. While SD does not have great BBQ, I lived in Florida and have had some greatness! The meat was tender and juicy. Fell off the bone. I got the meat plate. My only issues were the BBQ sauce was just good and the beer selection was crap. I think I will try Jabo's down the street next time.

About two months ago I had some carryout and I guess I forgot to review it then. I know I had the pork and beef. Just like Yazoo, they don't have fries. So we tried the beans and the cole slaw. I remember thinking the sides weren't that good. The meat was fine. The sauces were fine. Overall it wasn't a wow plate of barbecue. So I guess that's why I didn't remember to review them right away. Not bad, but I've had better elsewhere.

To-die-for bbq! I love their bbq chicken- it is smoked to perfection. Fries are fried with skin intact and are delicious. Large generous portions. Definitely good to come hungry.

Decent BBQ but the portions are too small and too expensive. They have a nice selection of BBQ sauces, but my fav is the Original. I'm wondering though, why don't they have corn bread as a side? I don't want a freaking bun with my food otherwise I would have ordered a sandwich.

3.5 stars. Used to be my favorite BBQ. Brisket was awesome but alas their sauces have been far surpassed by others. Their baked beans (with pork) are still outstanding. I tried all their sauces hoping to repeat what I'd experienced elsewhere. None of them compared to Dragon's Spit from Famous Dave's nor the Carolina Mustard at Smokin' Dave's BBQ in Estes Park. I've yet to find better in the South metro / DTC than this though. Service was fine (it is more like a fast casual restaurant) but I dined at a very slow Monday dinner.

This is a weekly staple for me. Yesterday the S.O. got sucked into a show on Food Network where they highlighted a BBQ place in CA. Naturally, we had to turn off the tv and head to Brothers. Brisket really is ridiculous. And i'd pay a serious amount of cash for the recipe for their beans. oh. my. god, they are good!

Price was good and big generousness portions. But we must have gotten unlucky, the meat was dry and hard to chew. Even the chicken wings were dry.

Chicken was dry, service was not very good. Guy just dropped the sandwiches on the table like he didn't care. Hot BBQ sauce had no spice to it at all. The brother was a big dissapointment. Was not impressed.

I had their pulled pork here today, which was okay, but it didn't have much smoky flavor to it and it was a bit on the dry side. The sauces were okay, but nothing special. The sides were not good at all (potato salad and cole slaw) but I never judge a bbq restaurant by their sides. I have a general pet peeve of places that ask for tips on the credit card receipt before you are served. This place does that. It's an average place, but on the bottom of my list for bbq. (That being said, I am from Texas, where bbq is a religion)

So I decided to go to this place, after my first options were closed. I ordered ribs and beans. I think I can cook better beans. They were sour and overpowered by fresh peppercorn. The only I forced myself to eat them was because I paid for them. The ribs were ok...nothing an ordinary griller can't make. The sauces they offered were mediocre. First and last on my book.

We have eaten here several times. We have never been let down, but I would say the food isn't the best. It is good though. They have good bbq pork and good sides. The food is not thrilling or exciting, but the menu covers exactly what you'd expect to see at a reasonably priced fast-food-ish BBQ joint. I do recommend it for a good, basic BBQ meal.

Place was clean and spacious and smelling like a smokehouse! You have to walk up to the counter and order your food first, then they bring it out to you. They have a soda fountain with a great selection of drinks. On each table is a metal basket containing 5 squeeze bottles of their sauces and a bottle of ketchup. For my family of four, we were very pleased with our selections. Between us, we had brisket, pork, chicken and sausage, awesome fries, tasty baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Nobody wanted ribs, but I'm sure they are good. I love the fact that the meats don't come out smothered in sauce and that we can choose which sauce combos we like best. I loved the brisket best. The pork was a little dry, but my husband says that's unusual because its normally very juicy. (He comes here more than I.) Maybe an off-day? I don't know. Access is a little awkward, but we like this place and will return. I look forward to trying their happy hour specials!

YUM-YUM-YUM!!! Stopped into Brothers on my way home from work for a quick bite. I had a super fresh BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was moist and there was plenty of it. The bun- super soft. I opted for the sweet sauce- delicious. The fries were crispy & hot. Washed it down with a cold brew!!! Hit the spot

My company hired Brothers BBQ to cater lunch for us on this week. Besides the coleslaw being kind of flavorless, it wasn't bad. The beans were REALLY good and the chicken was moist and well prepared. What really got me was their spicy BBQ sauce. Oh man! It made my eyes water & my nose run! There are not many chains that make food that spicy. I am usually disappointed by most establishment's definition of spicy. There was actually so much food left over, I took a large cup from our break room and filled it with the spicy BBQ sauce and took it home. I intend to do something neat with it (I love to cook and get a kick out of getting to use unique ingredients). I have never eaten in one of their establishments, however their catering is not bad at all and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for this type of food to be delivered to their office, get together or any other event. I don't know if I'd ever actively seek out their food again, but it was just fine for a free lunch.
